Light Casino table games are roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker
Every Light Casino table game comes from Evolution. Roulette runs on single-zero wheels, European and French; blackjack pays 3 to 2 and the dealer stands on every 17; baccarat is dealt from eight decks; and poker comes as Casino Hold’em, Three Card Poker and Caribbean Stud. Stakes run from 0,10 € to 5 000,00 € per round, depending on the game.
The house-edge figures here are the game’s mathematics, not our figures: they follow from the rules and payouts alone. Where this page works a figure out, the arithmetic is shown; the rest come from the published rules listed under Sources.

Roulette: European and French wheels
Jump to what each bet costsOur roulette tables run single-zero wheels only: European roulette, and French roulette with la partage on even-money bets. Stakes run from 0,10 € to 5 000,00 € per round.
A single-zero wheel has 37 pockets: the numbers 1 to 36, half red and half black, and a green zero. You bet on where the ball stops. A single number pays 35 to 1, two numbers 17 to 1, three 11 to 1, four 8 to 1, and a dozen or a column 2 to 1; red or black, odd or even, and 1–18 or 19–36 pay even money.
On this wheel every bet carries the same house edge: 1 ÷ 37, or 2.70%. Take a single number. Stake 1 on each of the 37 pockets and one of them wins, paying 35 plus its stake back: 36 returned for 37 staked, so 1 in every 37 stays with the house.
For comparison only, since we run no double-zero wheels: a double-zero wheel has 38 pockets and an edge of 2 ÷ 38, or 5.26%, on every bet except the five-number bet on 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3, which pays 6 to 1 and carries 3 ÷ 38, or 7.89%. No betting system changes any of these numbers: each spin is independent, and a sequence of bets that each carry the same edge carries it too.
La partage on even-money bets
At a French table, an even-money bet (red or black, odd or even, 1–18 or 19–36) loses only half its stake when the ball lands on zero. That halves the edge on those bets, from 2.70% to 1.35%; every other bet on the same wheel keeps 2.70%.
Blackjack: 3 to 2, dealer stands on every 17
At our blackjack tables a blackjack pays 3 to 2, the dealer stands on every 17, soft 17 included, and the cards come from eight decks. Stakes run from 1,00 € to 2 500,00 € per round.
You and the dealer each start with two cards, and the hand closer to 21 without going over wins. Cards 2 to 9 count their number, tens and picture cards count 10, and an ace counts 1 or 11. An ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards is a blackjack.
The dealer has no choices: with 16 or less the dealer draws, and with 17 or more stands. A soft 17 is a 17 that counts an ace as 11. Some rule sets have the dealer draw to it; ours, like the Nevada rule set cited below, has the dealer stand.
What a blackjack pays matters too. At 3 to 2 a stake of 10 wins 15; at 6 to 5 it would win 12, a fifth less on every blackjack you are dealt.
Your choices are hit, stand, double and split; the chart of the choice that loses least against each dealer card is called basic strategy. Insurance, offered when the dealer shows an ace, is a separate bet of up to half your stake that pays 2 to 1 only if the dealer holds a blackjack.
Baccarat
Two hands are dealt, Player and Banker, and you bet on the one that finishes closer to 9, or on a tie. Tens and picture cards count 0, an ace counts 1, and only the last digit of a total counts, so a 9 and a 7 make 6. Neither hand is yours to play: whether each one draws a third card is fixed by the rules, and the dealer applies them.
Banker pays even money less a 5% commission, Player pays even money, and Tie pays 8 to 1; a tie returns Banker and Player bets. With six or eight decks, those payouts and the drawing rules put the house edge at 1.06% on Banker and 1.24% on Player. Our baccarat tables deal from eight decks, with stakes from 1,00 € to 5 000,00 € per round.
Every baccarat table is excluded from bonus play. Stakes there count 0% towards wagering, and playing bonus money at one to clear it without risk ends that bonus and removes its winnings. Games excluded from bonus play
Poker against the house
Casino poker is played against the dealer, so there is no pot and no bluffing. You post an ante, see your cards and make one decision: fold and lose the ante, or place a second bet and compare hands with the dealer, whose hand must qualify. Our tables offer Casino Hold’em, Three Card Poker and Caribbean Stud, with antes from 0,50 € to 500,00 €.
| Variant | Your decision | Dealer qualifies with | If the dealer does not qualify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casino Hold’em | After the flop, call with twice the ante, or fold | A pair of fours or better | Ante paid from its paytable; call returned |
| Three Card Poker | Play with a bet equal to the ante, or fold | Queen high or better | Ante paid even money; play bet returned |
| Caribbean Stud | Bet twice the ante, or fold | Ace and king or better | Ante paid even money; bet returned |
Hands rank as in five-card poker, from royal flush down to high card, except in Three Card Poker, where three of a kind ranks above a straight, and a straight above a flush.
Live tables
At a live table a dealer runs each round on camera, dealing the cards or spinning the wheel in a studio, while you place your bets on screen. Our live tables come from Evolution.
- Betting window
- Bets for each round are taken during a window of 15 seconds.
- Stakes
- A live table’s minimum stake is set by the studio, and the table shows it before you bet.
- Demo
- None. Live tables, like every table game, are played for money only.
- Results
- They come from the cards and the wheel on camera rather than from a random number generator; the game fairness page explains what that means for testing.
- Connection and data
- A live table needs a 4 Mbps connection, against 1 Mbps for a slot, and uses about 700 MB of data an hour. What your phone needs to play
- If your connection drops
- Our server finishes the round and puts its result on your balance. If a decision in it was yours, the game takes the default its rules set, and the round appears in your history (Terms 8.5).
What each main bet costs
Each figure is the average share of a stake the bet loses across a long run of rounds, worked out from the rules and payouts above. The shorter the session, the less it describes. The double-zero rows are there for comparison: our wheels have a single zero.
| Bet | Pays | Worked out as | House edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roulette, single zero, any bet | 35 to 1 down to even money | 1 ÷ 37 | 2.70% |
| Roulette, double zero, any bet but one | 35 to 1 down to even money | 2 ÷ 38 | 5.26% |
| Roulette, double zero, five-number bet | 6 to 1 on 0, 00, 1, 2, 3 | 3 ÷ 38 | 7.89% |
| Roulette, la partage, even money | 1 to 1, half back on zero | 1 ÷ 37 ÷ 2 | 1.35% |
| Baccarat, Banker, eight decks | 1 to 1, less 5% commission | From the drawing rules; see Sources | 1.06% |
| Baccarat, Player, eight decks | 1 to 1 | From the drawing rules; see Sources | 1.24% |
Blackjack is not in the table: its edge depends on the table’s rules and on your own decisions, so no single figure describes it. Every figure assumes random cards and a random wheel: at a software table both come from a random number generator, and the game fairness page explains how that is tested.
Side bets are not in this table; each has its own paytable and house edge in the table’s rules screen.
Table limits
Your own limitsEvery table shows its smallest and largest stake per round before you bet. These are the ranges for each game.
| Game | Smallest stake | Largest stake |
|---|---|---|
| Roulette | 0,10 € | 5 000,00 € |
| Blackjack | 1,00 € | 2 500,00 € |
| Baccarat | 1,00 € | 5 000,00 € |
| Poker (ante) | 0,50 € | 500,00 € |
Above every table limit sits the one you set yourself: a deposit limit or loss limit for a day, a week or a month still applies, however much a table would accept.
Playing table games for money
To play for money you need an account, which you can open if you are 18 or over and live in Malta, Ireland, Poland, Finland or Hungary. The tables have no demo, so read a table’s rules screen before your first bet, and set your limits first with the tools described on the responsible gaming page.
With a bonus active, roulette, blackjack, poker and live tables count 10% towards its wagering, and baccarat counts 0% because every baccarat table is excluded from bonus play. The bonus policy has the full rules.
