Light Casino terms and conditions
The agreement between you and the company that runs Light Casino: who may hold an account, how money moves, what happens when a game fails, and how a dispute is settled.
Bonus rules sit in a separate bonus policy that forms part of these terms. How your personal data is handled is in the privacy notice and the cookie policy.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
- 1.1
Light Casino is operated by Lucenthra Gaming Limited (company number C 121846), registered at Level 2, Lucenthra House, Abate Rigord Street, Ta' Xbiex XBX 1120, Malta, under licence MGA/B2C/1236/2026 issued by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) in Malta. The countries we serve under that licence, and how gambling is regulated in each of them, are on the legal status page.
- 1.2
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Lucenthra Gaming Limited; “you” means the person who holds a Light Casino account; and “the site” means light-casino.biz.
- 1.3
These terms, the bonus policy and the rules shown inside each game make up the agreement between you and us.
- 1.4
These terms are written in English, and we also publish them in Polish, Finnish and Hungarian. If a translation differs from this text, the English text prevails.
- 1.5
You accept these terms when you open an account. How they can change is in section 15.
2. Who may play
- 2.1
You must be 18 or over, or older where the law of the country you live in sets a higher minimum age for gambling. How we check your age is in section 4.
- 2.2
You may not open or use an account if you live in a restricted country. The restricted countries are every country other than Malta, Ireland, Poland, Finland and Hungary. Among them are every other EU and EEA country; Switzerland; the United Kingdom; the United States and its territories; Australia; Canada; Türkiye; Russia and Belarus; and any country on the FATF list of high-risk jurisdictions subject to a call for action.
- 2.3
While you are in a restricted country, even on a short visit, you can sign in to withdraw your balance or use the responsible gaming tools, but you cannot deposit, play or take a bonus. We check your location when you sign in and in the cashier.
- 2.4
We open accounts for people who live in Malta, Ireland, Poland, Finland or Hungary, all under the licence in section 1.1. The legal status page describes how gambling is regulated in each of those countries.
- 2.5
You may hold one account, play only for yourself, and play only with money that belongs to you.
- 2.6
You may not open an account while you are self-excluded with us or registered with a national self-exclusion register in the country where you live, where it has one.
- 2.7
People who may not play because of their connection to us: employees and directors of Lucenthra Gaming Limited and its group, the people who live with them, and staff of our game and payment suppliers who can access game or account systems.
3. Your account
- 3.1
Give true and complete details when you register, and keep them up to date. Tell us about a change of name, address or payment details within 30 days.
- 3.2
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. If you think someone else has used your account, contact support straight away. How to protect the account is on the security page.
- 3.3
Your balance is held in the currency of the country you live in: euro (EUR) in Malta, Ireland and Finland, Polish złoty (PLN) in Poland and Hungarian forint (HUF) in Hungary. The currency is set at registration and does not change afterwards, and every limit, bonus and loyalty figure for your account is in that currency: the amounts in this English text are the euro ones, and the Polish and Hungarian versions of these terms and the cashier give the złoty and forint amounts. Player balances are held in bank accounts separate from the company’s own money and are used for nothing but paying players.
- 3.4
Your balance earns no interest.
4. Verification
- 4.1
The terms of our licence, MGA/B2C/1236/2026, and anti-money-laundering law require us to verify who every player is; we also confirm age and address. We do this at registration, before your first deposit.
- 4.2
We ask for a passport, national identity card or driving licence, and a proof of address dated within the last three months. How registration and verification work explains what a readable document looks like.
- 4.3
We may ask for further documents whenever the law or our own checks require it, including evidence of where deposited money came from. Until you send them, you cannot deposit, play or withdraw, but you can still sign in, set limits, take a time-out or exclude yourself.
- 4.4
We review documents within 24 hours of receiving them. If one cannot be accepted, we tell you which one and why.
- 4.5
If we cannot confirm your identity or age, we close the account and return deposits not yet withdrawn to the payment method they came from. Winnings are void only if the account belonged to someone under 18, was opened by a resident of a restricted country, was a second account or was used for fraud; otherwise we hold them and pay them to a payment method in your name once you complete the check.
- 4.6
If an account turns out to belong to someone under 18, we close it, return every deposit to the payment method it came from, and void all bets and winnings.
5. Deposits
- 5.1
Deposit only with a payment method registered in your own name, chosen from the methods shown in the cashier, which depend on the country you live in. The payments page lists them.
- 5.2
The smallest deposit is 10,00 € (20,00 € by bank transfer) and the largest is 10 000,00 €; each method’s own limits are on the payments page. We charge no fee for a deposit; your bank or payment provider may charge its own.
- 5.3
We do not give credit for play.
- 5.4
If you reverse a deposit through your bank or card issuer after using it to play, we suspend the account until the amount is repaid, and winnings made with the reversed money are void.
- 5.5
A deposit limit you set in your account applies to every deposit, whatever the method (section 10).
6. Withdrawals
- 6.1
You can ask to withdraw your cash balance from the cashier once the checks in section 4 are complete. Bonus money can be withdrawn only on the conditions in the bonus policy.
- 6.2
We send a withdrawal to the payment method you last deposited with, where that method can receive payouts, and otherwise to a bank account in your own name.
- 6.3
We process a withdrawal request within 24 hours. After that, the time depends on the payment method; how withdrawals work gives the time for each one.
- 6.4
The smallest withdrawal is 20,00 € and the largest single request is 10 000,00 €; each method’s own limit is on the withdrawal page. You can withdraw up to 100 000,00 € per calendar month, whatever your loyalty level. Amounts above that are paid in monthly instalments of up to 100 000,00 €, starting on the first day of each following month, until the whole amount is paid. Progressive jackpot wins, and deposits you have not played, are paid in full at once.
- 6.5
We charge no fee for a withdrawal; your bank or payment provider may charge its own.
- 6.6
A withdrawal cannot be cancelled once you have requested it, even while it is still pending, so the money cannot be played again.
7. Bonuses
- 7.1
Every bonus is subject to the bonus policy and to the key terms shown beside the offer. If the two differ, the stricter of the two applies, because an offer may set a figure stricter than the bonus policy but never a looser one.
- 7.2
A bonus is never required. You can decline an offer before it is credited; if you cancel an active bonus, the bonus and anything won with it are removed, and your own money is not affected.
- 7.3
We send no offers to an account on a time-out or self-exclusion.
- 7.4
Every account belongs to the Light Casino loyalty club from its first settled bet. Points are earned on settled real-money bets (bets placed with bonus money earn none), have no cash value, expire after 180 days with no settled bet, and end when the account closes. We cancel points when the bets that earned them are cancelled or voided, when they were earned on a second account or through bonus abuse, or when the account is closed for a breach of section 9. Rewards are claimed in the cashier and are never added on their own; none can be claimed during a time-out or self-exclusion, or while bonuses are paused under section 10.4. No loyalty level changes a limit, a time-out or a self-exclusion, or how fast and how much you can withdraw. The full rules are on the loyalty page.
8. Games, rules and malfunctions
- 8.1
Each game’s rules and paytable are in its information screen and form part of these terms. A return-to-player figure, where one is shown, is the share of stakes the game pays back on average over a very large number of rounds. It says nothing about what one session will return.
- 8.2
Outcomes are decided by the game’s random number generator. How games are tested is on the game fairness page.
- 8.3
If a game or our system malfunctions, bets and wins affected by the fault are void, and the stakes on the affected rounds are returned to your balance. We tell you what happened to your stake.
- 8.4
Money credited to your account by mistake does not belong to you. We correct the balance as soon as we find the mistake and tell you what we changed; if the money has already been withdrawn, we agree a way to repay it with you.
- 8.5
If your connection drops during a round, the round is completed on our server and its result is added to your balance; where a decision was yours, the game applies the default in its rules, and the round shows in your history.
9. Fair play
- 9.1
You may not hold more than one account; act together with other players to gain an advantage; use software that plays or decides for you; use a fault in a game instead of reporting it; deposit money that is not yours or that comes from crime; or let anyone else use your account.
- 9.2
If we have reasonable grounds to believe one of these has happened, we may suspend the account while we investigate. If it is confirmed, we close the accounts involved, void the bets and winnings affected, return deposits that were not part of the breach where the law allows, and report the matter to the authorities where the law requires.
- 9.3
We tell you why an account is suspended, unless the law forbids us to.
10. Responsible gaming
- 10.1
The tools in your account are deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, time-outs and self-exclusion. What each one does is on the responsible gaming page.
- 10.2
Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Raising or removing one takes effect after 72 hours.
- 10.3
Self-exclusion lasts at least 6 months. When it ends, the account stays closed until you ask in writing to responsible-gaming@light-casino.biz, and play resumes 7 days after that request. A permanent self-exclusion is never reopened.
- 10.4
If your play shows signs of harm, we may contact you and pause bonuses and marketing, set limits on the account, require a time-out, or close the account. When your net deposits over 30 days pass 5 000,00 €, we also review whether your play is affordable, and we may ask for evidence of income or of where the money comes from before you deposit more.
- 10.5
While you are self-excluded we accept no deposits from you and send you no marketing.
11. Complaints and disputes
- 11.1
Start with support. Most problems are put right there.
- 11.2
If support has not resolved it, make a formal complaint by email to complaints@light-casino.biz, starting with the words “Formal complaint”. You can write in English, Polish, Finnish or Hungarian, and we reply in the language you write in. Complain within 180 days of the event. We acknowledge a complaint within 2 days and send our final answer within 14 days. The complaints procedure explains what to include.
- 11.3
If you disagree with our final answer, you can take the dispute to the Quellmont Dispute Resolution Service, an independent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body, within 12 months of that answer. ADR happens out of court, and an ADR body expects you to have raised the complaint with us first. Where the Quellmont Dispute Resolution Service is approved under the EU ADR Directive, it aims to reach an outcome within 90 days.
- 11.4
You can also complain to the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
- 11.5
The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025, so these terms do not refer you to it.
- 11.6
Using these routes does not stop you going to court under section 14.
12. Dormant and closed accounts
- 12.1
An account becomes dormant after 12 months without a sign-in. We contact you 30 days before that happens.
- 12.2
The balance of a dormant account stays yours: we never charge an inactivity fee, and we pay it out whenever you ask.
- 12.3
You can close your account at any time in Account › Settings or through support. Closing an account is not the same as self-exclusion: if you want to stop gambling, self-exclusion also stops you opening a new account.
- 12.4
When an account is closed we pay the remaining cash balance to a payment method or bank account in your own name once any check under section 4 is complete. Unused bonus money is removed.
- 12.5
We may close an account with 30 days’ notice, or without notice for the reasons in section 9.
13. Liability
- 13.1
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law of Malta does not allow to be limited.
- 13.2
Apart from that, our liability to you is limited to the stakes, deposits or winnings involved in the matter your claim concerns.
- 13.3
We are not liable for a failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control: natural disasters, epidemics, war or terrorism, government action, strikes outside our company, failures of public power or telecommunications networks, and attacks on our systems that we could not reasonably have prevented.
14. Governing law and courts
- 14.1
These terms are governed by the law of Malta. That choice does not take away the protection you have under the rules of the country where you live that cannot be set aside by agreement.
- 14.2
A dispute that is not settled under section 11 goes to the courts of Malta, without affecting your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of the EU country where you live.
15. Changes to these terms
- 15.1
We may change these terms when the law, our licence or the service changes. We tell you about a change that affects you at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email to your registered address and with a message the next time you sign in.
- 15.2
If you do not accept a change, you can close your account and withdraw your balance before the change takes effect.
- 15.3
Each version is dated at the top of this page. This is the first version, so there are no earlier ones.
16. Contact
- 16.1
Support: live chat once you are signed in, and email to support@light-casino.biz, every day from 08:00 to 24:00 Central European Time (CET, or CEST in summer), in English, Polish, Finnish and Hungarian. Every channel is listed on the support page.
- 16.2
Formal complaints follow section 11. Requests about your personal data follow section 11 of the privacy notice.
